Activate Account by Card

When using IDmelon Security Key as a Service, Contactless Cards can be used as a security key. The admin of your organization can activate a card for you or they can send an invitation email which helps you register your card.

Activation by admin

In case of activating the card by an admin, you receive an email containing a PIN number and you can use your card right away. Or if the admin activates the PIN-less verification method for you, your card will be activated without a PIN.

Activation by user

When you possess the card, admins only can send you an invitation email containing the registration link.

  1. Click on the Register your card button and then click on Tap your card activate in new tab.

  2. Your card is successfully detected.

  3. Set a PIN based on on the PIN Complexity of your organization or press Skip button to activate it with a random PIN.

  4. Your card is successfully activated. alt

  5. You will receive a message containing a PIN to use your card. alt
